Our privacy-first approach
The core idea behind GrabTok is simple: you should be able to save a public video without handing over your identity. We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide personal details to use the tool. We never ask for your TikTok username or password, and we would never need them. The tool is built so that the vast majority of what happens takes place between your browser, the link you paste, and the source servers that hold the video — with as little involvement from us as possible.
Information we do not collect
We do not ask for or store your name, your email address (unless you choose to email us directly for support), your phone number, your precise location, or your TikTok login. We do not build advertising profiles about you, and we do not sell personal data, because we do not collect the kind of personal data that would make that possible. When you paste a TikTok link, that link is used only to fetch the video you requested; it is not tied to your identity or kept as part of a personal record.
How downloads are handled
When you request a video, the file is fetched and delivered to your device so that you can save it. We do not keep a copy of the videos you download, and we do not maintain a history of your downloads tied to you. Once your download is complete, our involvement with that file ends. The video itself comes from the source content servers, not from a store of files we keep on our side.
Cookies and analytics
To keep the tool working well and to understand broad usage — such as how many people visit, which pages are popular, and which general countries or languages are most common — we may use basic, privacy-friendly analytics and essential cookies. This information is aggregated and statistical; it helps us improve the site and does not identify you as an individual. Third-party servers and links
The videos you download are served from TikTok's own content delivery servers. Data security
Because we intentionally collect very little information, there is very little about you for anyone to access. We take reasonable measures to keep the service secure and to protect the limited, non-identifying data we do handle. Children's privacy
